Our history

Pacífico Sur was founded in 1991 in the city of Santiago, Chile, with the purpose of providing raw materials derived from the agribusiness for the livestock industry.

1992 - 1999

In its early years, the company specialized in importing high-quality ethyl alcohol, primarily targeting the cosmetic, liquor, and food industries.

Furthermore, it incorporates vegetable-origin fatty acids for the poultry industry.

1992 - 1999

2000 - 2010

During this decade, Pacifico Sur became a benchmark in the sale of neutral grain spirits and sugarcane alcohols, introducing to the Chilean market a standard of quality superior to that marketed in the domestic industry. This set them apart from the competition, raising the standards for their suppliers and highlighting the advantages of these raw materials in their clients’ final products.

2011 - 2023

In 2013, the division of importing and marketing generic and specific inputs for the food industry was born.

Over the years, the company diversified its suppliers across various countries, seeking different qualities and ensuring supply security.

Currently, Pacífico Sur imports from Australia, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Colombia, Ecuador, Malaysia, Bolivia, and Argentina, offering a diverse catalog of raw materials with a wide range of uses.
